Deliver exceptional neonatal care by bringing your expertise in NICU nursing to a facility dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality support for newborns and their families. As a Registered Nurse with specialized NICU experience, you will be instrumental in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable infants while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS and NRP certifications
- Minimum of one year of recent NICU experience required
- Strong knowledge of advanced neonatal care, technology, and equipment
- Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to provide emotional support to patients families
- Experience working collaboratively in a team-driven environment
Schedule/Hours:
- Contract position; full-time and part-time shifts may be available
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-acuity neonatal care, including continuous monitoring and assessment of infants
- Implement individualized care plans in collaboration with neonatologists and interdisciplinary teams
- Administer medications and IV fluids with accuracy and according to protocols
- Document patient progress, observations, and interventions thoroughly and in a timely manner
- Provide education and support to families regarding infant care, updates, and discharge planning
- Ensure a safe, healing, and developmentally supportive environment in compliance with established clinical guidelines
