Key Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Recent, hands-on experience in a Level III or IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
• Proficiency in managing ventilators, IVs, and central lines
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based nursing care for premature and critically ill infants
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status, reporting changes to physicians as needed
• Administer medications, treatments, and specialized therapies according to care plans
• Communicate with and support families throughout the infants hospitalization
• Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and ancillary staff
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards
• Participate in unit meetings and ongoing education to stay current in NICU practice
