Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment
- Flexible scheduling within the Float Pool as per facility needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide coordinated nursing care to NICU patients in accordance with established protocols and the nursing process
- Supervise and support nursing staff of various levels while acting as a role model for professional practice
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care, ensuring communication between departments
- Employ strong critical thinking and independent judgment to prioritize patient needs
- Will include educational development and participation in non-productive hours with the Float Pool; always clock into the assigned unit when actively working
Desired Qualifications:
- Current RN license with recent experience in a Level III or IV NICU setting
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent communication, supervision, and critical thinking skills
- Prior experience as a Float Pool nurse highly desirable
