As a Registered Nurse in a Level III/IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), youll work with a highly specialized team providing comprehensive, life-saving care to neonates with critical health conditions. Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time, variable travel assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver coordinated, evidence-based nursing care for assigned NICU patients using established nursing processes and standards
- Supervise, mentor, and guide assigned nursing staff, maintaining a collaborative and supportive team environment
- Interface with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated, family-centered care for high-risk neonates
- Exercise strong independent judgment and critical thinking to respond to dynamic patient needs
- Maintain up-to-date, accurate documentation, ensuring all clinical interventions meet regulatory standards
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Current RN license with eligibility to practice in CA
- Minimum of one year NICU experience; Level III/IV NICU preferred
- Proven ability to work well in high-pressure, acute care settings
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- Demonstrated leadership and team coordination abilities
