This role places you within a high-acuity NICU setting, where youll deliver and coordinate care for neonates facing life-threatening conditions, consistent with Level III or IV American Academy of Pediatrics standards. Youll supervise nursing teams and coordinate with various healthcare professionals, putting your critical thinking, independent judgment, and leadership abilities to the test. Collaboration with seasoned neonatal specialists ensures exposure to new protocols and best practices, expanding your resume and professional network.
Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment, flexible scheduling
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum one year of experience in a Level III/IV NICU
- Current BLS and NRP certifications
- Strong skills in neonatal assessment, monitoring, and family-centered care
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team coordination skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for critically ill neonates
- Monitor patient status and initiate interventions per protocol
- Supervise and mentor assigned staff members
