This contract position offers a 16-week assignment at a respected healthcare facility in Liverpool, NY, providing care to the tiniest and most vulnerable patients. Ideal candidates will bring at least two years of NICU nursing experience, a strong commitment to compassionate care, and proficiency with EPIC charting systems.
Responsibilities include delivering high-quality nursing care to neonates, collaborating with the healthcare team to create and implement care plans, monitoring patient status, and maintaining accurate patient records. Adherence to safety protocols and participation in ongoing professional development are essential components of this role.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active and clear RN license
- Certification in BLS, PALS, and NRP
- Minimum of two years NICU nursing experience
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical records
- Ability to work 36 hours per week in a NICU setting
- Flexibility to wear any color scrubs
