You'll be embedded in a high-acuity NICU setting with a diverse range of patient cases, from complex cardiac and respiratory conditions to GI, neurological, and endocrine challenges. Working alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary teamincluding round-the-clock charge nurses, intensivists, respiratory therapists, and specialized support staffprovides valuable exposure to varied workplace cultures, leadership styles, and educational approaches. Your resume will be enriched with advanced skills in critical care, high-tech monitoring, and the latest in EMR systems, while also gaining the flexibility to float between specialized pediatric units.
Schedule:
- Rotating 12-hour shifts: 06451915 and 18450715
- Weekend rotation: 2 Fridays and 2 Mondays plus every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) per 6-week cycle
- No call required for travelers
- Holiday work expectations as scheduled
Qualifications:
- Current RN license; BLS and NRP certified
- At least 2 years of Level 3 or 4 NICU experience, comfortable in fast-paced, high-acuity settings
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR, critical care drips, ventilators, invasive line management, and pediatric bedside procedures
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based care to neonates with complex, multi-system conditions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Utilize critical care technology and perform advanced procedures
- Provide support and float to other pediatric units as needed
