Youll collaborate with expert NICU teams and outstanding healthcare leaders, deepening your critical care capabilities as you care for a diverse neonatal population, from micro-preemies to surgical infants. Working alongside other travelers and seasoned local staff will add valuable dimension to your clinical experience and resume. Plus, after your shifts, youll be able to explore High Points welcoming neighborhoods, North Carolinas scenic attractions, and a wealth of local cultureensuring a rewarding adventure outside of work.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, night shift
  • Every other weekend rotation required
  • Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks
  • No on-call; 75% of holiday shifts expected

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience required
  • National certifications: BLS and NRP required
  • Competency in basic ventilator management, central line care, pre/post-surgical care, tracheostomies, g-tubes, gavage feeding, blood transfusions, and infant venous sticks
  • First-time travelers welcome

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized care for NICU patients, including surgical and high-risk infants
  • Implement best practices in breastfeeding, bottle, and tube feeding
  • Coordinate closely with nurse aides and charge nurses
  • Float to Pediatrics, PICU, Adolescent, and Pediatric Hem/Onc units as needed
  • Accurately chart in EPIC EMR
