A specialized registered nurse is sought to provide expert care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Fairbanks, AK. This full-time contract role involves working three 12-hour shifts per week, with a schedule that includes five weekend shifts every six weeks. Voluntary on-call duties and occasional floating to various hospital units are part of the responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physical, psychological, social, and developmental assessments of NICU patients.
- Collaborate with patient families and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor diagnostic and laboratory results, promptly reporting abnormalities to physicians and caregivers.
- Plan and coordinate discharge strategies considering all facets of patient care.
- Ensure all documentation and assessments comply with hospital policies and healthcare standards.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with at least one year of professional nursing experience.
- Experience and skills specific to NICU nursing preferred.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends.
