An opportunity is available for an experienced NICU Registered Nurse specializing in Level 3 or 4 care to support a premier healthcare facility in Cumming, GA. This 13-week contract position includes the potential for extension and offers night shifts with the flexibility of every other weekend scheduling or Fri-Sun block shifts. The role requires a dedicated professional willing to float between departments within a close campus network.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care for critically ill neonates in a Level 3 or 4 NICU environment.
- Float between departments within the primary hospital and sister campuses located within a 12-mile radius.
- Maintain readiness to work either on Christmas Day or adjacent holiday dates as part of the holiday schedule.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Utilize EPIC electronic health records system (preferred) to document and monitor patient care.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years recent NICU experience at Level 3 or 4.
- Current certifications in PALS, BLS, and NRP preferred.
- Prior travel nursing experience is advantageous.
- EPIC experience preferred.
- Strong adaptability and teamwork skills to navigate floating responsibilities.
- Valid RN licensure in good standing.
Schedule:
- Night shift (7:00 PM 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week.
- Every other weekend or Friday-Sunday 3-night block scheduling, with additional compensation for weekend coverage.
