Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New York State (NYS RN license)
- Minimum Associate of Applied Science in Nursing
- Certification in BLS upon hire; ACLS, PALS, and NRP to be completed within 6 months
- Experience with post-partum and Mother-Baby Couplet care preferred
- Familiarity with Maternal Child Health professional standards (AWONN, ACOG, NNA, AORN)
- Capability to perform the physical demands of the role, including light patient lifting and frequent use of hands/fingers
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct care and patient education to those within the Maternal Child Health unit
- Collect, observe, and document patient data
- Plan and implement care strategies tailored to each patients physical, emotional, psychological, educational, and spiritual needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and unit leadership to ensure compliance with nursing regulations
