This opportunity invites experienced registered nurses specialized in neonatal intensive care to contribute their skills in a dynamic healthcare environment. Located in Arden, NC, this contract position centers around caring for the most vulnerable patients in a well-equipped Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Qualifications & Experience:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- NICU experience strongly preferred
- Stable and Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing (NIC-RNC) certifications are a plus
- Ability to provide high-quality, compassionate care to neonates and support to families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill newborns in the NICU
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Communicate effectively with families, offering emotional support and education
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation in accordance with hospital standards
