Schedule/Hours:
- Every other weekend required
- Must work any holiday that falls within your regular schedule
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience preferred
- Proficiency in using Cerner EMR
- Strong communication and critical thinking abilities
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn new clinical practices
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive assessments and ongoing patient care on a busy med-surg unit
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate treatment plans
- Accurately document patient progress and care in the Cerner EMR system
- Educate patients and families, ensuring they understand treatments and discharge instructions
- Uphold high standards of safety, infection control, and ethical nursing practice
