Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour day shifts
• Flexibility to cover other shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Orientation: Mondays only

Qualifications:

• Current RN license and minimum three years recent Med-Surg experience
• At least one year of pediatric experience; comfortable with both adult and pediatric care
• American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Adaptable to float between departments when qualified

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive, compassionate care to med-surg patients across ages (adult, geriatric, pediatric) in a 20-bed unit
• Maintain excellent patient ratios: Non-Covid (4:1 typical, 5:1 max); Covid (2:1 typical, 3:1 max)
• Support flu immunization clinics as assigned
• Engage in staff meetings and contribute to healthcare best practices
• Assist with diverse clinical tasks or patient care roles per departmental needs
