Schedule:
- 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
Unit Overview:
- 41-bed rehabilitation unit
- Patient ratio: 1 RN to 6 patients
- Day and night shifts supported by a strong staff mix of RNs and LPNs
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 1-year recent acute care hospital Med/Surg RN experience required
- Active BLS certification
- Preferred: CRRN Certification, experience with Quality Indicator scoring in post-acute settings
- Must be able to care for telemetry patients and pass Airstrip telemetry competency
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for rehabilitation patients in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team
- Perform lab draws, administer IV antibiotics and medications, and oversee blood transfusions as needed
- Conduct head-to-toe assessments, wound vac dressing changes, and utilize patient lift equipment
- Educate patients and families about care plans and rehabilitation programs
