Deliver high-quality patient care as a valued member of a progressive healthcare team specializing in medical-surgical nursing. This opportunity focuses on supporting patient recovery with comprehensive care and clinical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and implement individualized care plans for adults with diverse medical conditions
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor vital signs, and observe patient responses to treatments
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Provide compassionate patient and family education regarding diagnoses, procedures, and ongoing care needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to established policies and protocols
Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Previous experience as a RN on medical-surgical units is required
- Comprehensive knowledge of evidence-based practices in med-surg nursing
- Proficient with electronic medical records and charting
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
