An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical (RN-MS) care. This contract position offers the chance to apply your clinical expertise in a dynamic hospital environment recognized for its dedication to quality and compassionate care.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills
• Ability to efficiently document and communicate using electronic health records
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Schedule/Hours:

• Contract-based assignment with full-time hours

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered care on the medical-surgical floor, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with treatments
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document care plans in accordance with best practices
• Coordinate with physicians, specialists, and other nursing staff to uphold safety and quality of care
• Provide education and support to patients and families, ensuring understanding of treatment plans and procedures
• Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and initiate appropriate interventions
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment, and comply with all hospital policies and infection control standards
