Professionally, you will expand your nursing experience as a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse, gaining exposure to diverse patient populations and a variety of workplace practices. Schedule:
- 7:00 AM 7:30 PM shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Every-other-weekend rotation
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of Connecticut (or compact license)
- At least one year of recent medical-surgical RN experience required
- Capability to work inpatient hold and manage patient acuity
- Flexibility and the willingness to float to emergency department patients is highly preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate, efficient care to patients in an inpatient hold setting
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
- Support patients who may require emergency department care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with facility protocols and best practices
