Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00 a.m. 7:30 p.m.
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend (EOW) rotation
Key Qualifications:
- Current RN license
- Experience in Med-Surg (MS) nursing required
- Strong clinical skills and adaptability
- Preferred: Ability to care for ED (Emergency Department) patients
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- BLS certification (additional certifications a plus)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct inpatient care, monitoring and treating patients with varied medical-surgical needs
- Assess, plan, and implement nursing care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Support safe patient holds and manage varying acuity levels
- Flexibly respond to department needs, including potential coverage of ED patients
- Maintain comprehensive, accurate patient records and communicate effectively with families
- Ensure adherence to evidence-based practice standards
