This travel position allows you to build a varied resume, working alongside exceptional professionals and experiencing diverse healthcare methodologies. Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00 PM 7:30 AM (12-hour night shifts)
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend rotation
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license, valid for practice in Connecticut
- Two years of recent Med-Surg experience strongly encouraged
- Experience with inpatient holds and willingness to care for ED patients preferred
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care for patients in inpatient hold, including those with ED needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality care
- Implement evidence-based practice and follow facility protocols
- Accurately document patient assessments and interventions
- Support care continuity through effective shift handoffs
