A healthcare facility in West Bend, WI is seeking a registered nurse with medical-surgical and telemetry experience for a contract position. This role requires strong clinical judgment and the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and care for patients with telemetry needs, ensuring accurate reading and response to cardiac rhythms
- Utilize EPIC electronic medical records to document patient information and care plans
- Provide medical-surgical nursing care based on patient conditions and physician orders
- Adhere strictly to facility policies, including maintaining short, natural nails with no artificial or acrylic enhancements
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with at least 2 years of medical-surgical experience
- Background in telemetry and competency in reading cardiac monitors
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to infection control protocols
