As an RN on a med-surg floor, you'll play a critical role in patient care, utilizing your skills in assessment, monitoring, medication administration, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately
- Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient progress, recognizing any changes in condition promptly
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and support staff for optimal patient outcomes
- Deliver compassionate education and support to patients and families
- Maintain compliance with safety standards, infection control, and facility protocols
Desired Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered RN license
- At least 1 year of recent Med Surg nursing experience preferred
- BLS certification; ACLS certification is a plus
