Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active RN license in good standing
  • Current experience with Med Surg or MS floors
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to document accurately and efficiently within electronic medical records
  • Reliable, with a commitment to providing safe, effective patient care

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct nursing care to patients on a busy Med Surg unit, supporting recovery and positive outcomes
  • Administer medications and perform treatments according to physician orders and unit protocols
  • Monitor and assess patient health status, recognizing and addressing changes promptly
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care
  • Provide clear education and discharge instructions to patients and their families
  • Maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with all documentation requirements and regulatory standards
  • Foster a supportive, respectful care environment for patients and colleagues
