This travel role will expand your clinical knowledge by exposing you to a variety of patient populations and workplace practices. Youll collaborate with skilled interdisciplinary teams, manage diverse patient care situations, and gain valuable insights into differing leadership approaches. Schedule / Hours:
- 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend (EOW)
Your Qualifications:
- Current and unencumbered RN license (any state acceptable in many travel roles)
- Minimum one year of recent Med Surg experience preferred
- BLS certification required; additional certifications desirable
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable in fast-paced environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide holistic and evidence-based nursing care to med surg/telemetry patients
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and allied healthcare professionals
- Accurately document patient status and interventions
- Educate patients and families regarding post-discharge care
- Maintain compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations
