Working within a 35-bed MedSurg/Telemetry unit committed to top-tier patient care, youll broaden your skills alongside strong clinical teams, and gain valuable exposure to advanced hospital technology and fast-paced, interdisciplinary settings. This is the perfect environment for expanding your clinical expertise, learning different workplace practices, and strengthening your leadership toolkitall while making lasting memories in a new locale.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour shifts: Choose days (7A-7P) or nights (7P-7A)
  • Every 6-week cycle, expect 5-6 weekend shifts out of 12
  • Holiday rotation required (one shift per major holiday)
  • No on-call

Key Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with at least 2 years of recent MedSurg/Tele experience (Level 1 Trauma preferred)
  • BLS required; successful completion of EKG competency (BCR) needed
  • ACLS and MedSurg or Nephrology certifications preferred
  • First-time travelers welcome!

Essential Skills:

  • Advanced clinical assessment and strong med-surg competencies
  • Expertise in IV insertion, central line care, wound management
  • Trach care, chest tube management, insulin and heparin drips
  • Proficient in cardiac/telemetry monitoring and patient education

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage care for patients with trauma, post-op, co-morbidities, and chronic conditions
  • Discharge planning and interdisciplinary team coordination
  • Participate in floating to other adult med-surg/tele units as needed
