The hospital boasts 637 licensed beds and advanced certifications as both a Chest Pain and Stroke Center.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour shifts: 7A7P or 7P7A
  • Weekend rotation: 56 shifts out of 12 within a 6-week cycle
  • No on-call requirement
  • Holiday shift expectations and manager-approved RTO requests

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current RN license and BLS required; Basic Cardiac Rhythm competency necessarycandidates must pass an EKG exam during compliance
  • ACLS preferred
  • At least 2 years recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience (first-time travelers welcome)
  • National certification in medical-surgical or nephrology nursing preferred

Required Skills:

  • Advanced clinical assessment and strong med-surg skills for a trauma setting
  • Proficiency in trach care, chest tube management, insulin/heparin drips, glucommander
  • IV insertion, central line management, and wound/post-op care
  • Interdisciplinary care coordination, discharge planning, and patient education

Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage care for a diverse population, including orthopedic, trauma, and chronic disease cases
  • Oversee 46 patients per shift, supported by CNAs, resource nurses, and 24/7 onsite specialists
  • Use EPIC, Alaris, Pyxis, and advanced patient monitoring equipment
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team in a fast-paced, supportive culture
