This role places you in a Level II Trauma Center, allowing you to hone your skills and broaden your clinical expertise with exposure to diverse medical-surgical and telemetry unit practices. Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour night shifts
• 48 hours per week required (not accepting 36-hour options)
• Every other weekend and holiday required, unless pre-approved for time off
• No blocked scheduling

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active KY or Compact RN license
• Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (all required and up to date)
• At least 1 year of RN experience in a med-surg/telemetry specialty, with Level I or II Trauma experience mandatory
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting tele strips
• Charting in Care View/EPIC preferred (on-site training available)
• EKG test to be completed during compliance
• COVID-19 vaccine required (declinations allowed with weekly testing at your own expense)
• Strong teamwork, adaptability, reliability, and resilience

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care to patients in Med Surg/Telemetry units and float to all in-patient areas as needed
• Maintain a patient load of 1:6 within units of 15-45 beds
• Flexibly assist as an aide in other units when required
• Adhere to all infection control and hospital policies
