This travel assignment offers an immersive experience in a fast-paced surgical/ortho MS/Tele unit, ensuring every shift brings opportunities to grow your confidence and skillset. Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour night shifts (no blocked scheduling)
  • 48 guaranteed hours per week
  • 8-week contract
  • Every other weekend and holiday required unless approved for time off

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Active KY or Compact RN license
  • AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (must be submitted with application)
  • Successful completion of EKG test during compliance process
  • Minimum 1 year RN experience in Med Surg/Tele, including Level I or II Trauma experience
  • Proficiency in Care View/EPIC charting preferred (training available)
  • Required skillset: Med Surg/Tele, ability to read/interpret tele strips
  • Team-oriented, adaptable, resilient, excellent communicator

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exemplary care to a diverse med surg/tele patient population
  • Float throughout in-patient areas as assigned, assist as an aide when necessary
  • Maintain high standards in trauma-informed care and patient safety
  • Flexibly respond to evolving unit needs
