This travel assignment offers an immersive experience in a fast-paced surgical/ortho MS/Tele unit, ensuring every shift brings opportunities to grow your confidence and skillset. Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour night shifts (no blocked scheduling)
- 48 guaranteed hours per week
- 8-week contract
- Every other weekend and holiday required unless approved for time off
Qualifications/Experience:
- Active KY or Compact RN license
- AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (must be submitted with application)
- Successful completion of EKG test during compliance process
- Minimum 1 year RN experience in Med Surg/Tele, including Level I or II Trauma experience
- Proficiency in Care View/EPIC charting preferred (training available)
- Required skillset: Med Surg/Tele, ability to read/interpret tele strips
- Team-oriented, adaptable, resilient, excellent communicator
Responsibilities:
- Deliver exemplary care to a diverse med surg/tele patient population
- Float throughout in-patient areas as assigned, assist as an aide when necessary
- Maintain high standards in trauma-informed care and patient safety
- Flexibly respond to evolving unit needs
