A Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity is available at a premier healthcare institution in Verona, WI, on a contract basis. This role offers 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working every other weekend from Friday to Sunday. Ideal candidates will bring advanced skills in acute care nursing and telemetry monitoring, thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic hospital environment.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum two years of acute care experience within the past three years.
- Recent Epic system experience, preferably within the last 12 months.
- Current Wisconsin nursing license or a compact nursing license from your permanent address state.
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
- Basic Arrhythmia experience required; must pass a telemetry competency test before starting.

Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care during 12-hour night shifts.
- Utilize telemetry monitoring to track patient cardiac status.
- Adapt to fluctuating unit assignments and float between departments as needed to support staffing demands.
- Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
Additional Details:
- Must reside within 50 miles of the primary worksite.
- Parking permits are required for onsite parking through the institutions transportation services.
- Shifts primarily in the Telemetry unit, with flexibility to work in various departments.
