Schedule/Hours:
- Night shift: 6:30 PM 7:00 AM (block scheduling not guaranteed)
As a Registered Nurse with experience in Medical-Surgical units, youll care for adult patients recovering from a variety of conditions, including post-surgical cases, abdominal pain, fractures, and bariatric surgeries. This role requires you to float as needed and work with specialized equipment such as IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes, all while wearing navy blue scrubs.
Qualifications:
- Active New York RN license; all licenses must be active and verified via NURSYS Report
- Minimum 2 years recent MS experience, with travel experience documented in resume
- Strong proficiency with EPIC EMR
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Up-to-date skills checklist matching specialty
- Valid drivers license with demographics matching application
- Willingness to float between units as required
- RTO (Requested Time Off) must be included at the time of submission
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care for adult MS patients with post-surgical and acute medical diagnoses
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and update patient records in EPIC
- Collaborate with medical teams and families to develop customized care plans
- Operate specialty equipment and respond to changing patient needs promptly
- Ensure adherence to best clinical practices and facility protocols
