This full-time opportunity offers a 12-hour day shift schedule (7:00 AM 7:00 PM), with weekend and holiday shifts requiredproviding the chance to make a meaningful impact in patient care while working alongside experienced healthcare professionals. Schedule Details:
- Full-time, 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM 7:00 PM)
- Weekend and holiday shifts required
- No on-call or floating assignments
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Nursing or diploma; Bachelors preferred
- Current Registered Nurse license in Kansas
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (ACLS and PALS certifications may be substituted for BLS depending on the unit)
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience
- New graduates encouraged to apply
- ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire for specific units (ED, ICU, 2East, and others)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care following established protocols and organizational policies
- Coordinate care by assessing patient and family needs, resources, and priorities
- Maintain compliance with all healthcare laws, regulations, and confidentiality standards
- Utilize clinical judgment and effective communication to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Participate in shift handoffs and ensure accurate documentation
