A full-time opportunity is available for a motivated Registered Nurse to provide acute inpatient care on 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM7:00 PM), including required weekends and holidays. New graduates are welcome to apply and no on-call or floating is expected.
Schedule:
- Full-time, 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM7:00 PM)
- Weekend shifts required
- Holidays required
- No on-call responsibilities
Key Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Nursing or diploma in Nursing required
- Active Registered Nurse license in Kansas
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers required; ACLS and PALS certification may waive BLS depending on unit
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred, but new graduates will be considered
- Bachelors degree in Nursing preferred
- Willingness to complete ACLS certification within six months for certain units (such as ED, ICU, or 2East)
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, patient-centered nursing care following organizational protocols and policies
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements concerning patient privacy and information
- Effectively coordinate patient care, using sound decision-making and clinical judgment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address patient and family healthcare needs
- Uphold the highest standards of safety and quality in all care activities
