Registered Nurse - MedSurg | Thomasville, GA | Contract Opportunity
A dynamic healthcare role is available for a MedSurg RN at a respected acute care facility located in Thomasville, GA. This 13-week contract assignment begins approximately three weeks after an offer is accepted, with potential for extension. This position offers flexible scheduling options, including 3x12-hour or 4x12-hour day shifts, working every other weekend (EOW), with float responsibilities and minimal to no return to the original home unit (RTO).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care to adult patients
- Serve as Charge Nurse as needed, demonstrating leadership and coordination skills
- Document patient care accurately using Soarian EMR
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current RN license with at least 2 years recent experience in Medical-Surgical nursing
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Experience as a Charge Nurse
- Ability to wear Royal Blue scrubs (not provided)
- Must reside within a 50-mile radius of assignment (proof via drivers license required)
- Submission requires completed Qualivis form, updated Licensure Verification System (NURSYS), references, and skills checklist
Schedule:
- Day Shift: 07:00 AM to 07:00 PM
- Options: 3x12-hour or 4x12-hour shifts
- Every Other Weekend (EOW)
- Float duties included
- Minimal to no Return to Original unit (RTO)
