Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a Medical-Surgical setting
- Advanced knowledge of MS nursing practices, including patient assessments, care planning, and clinical documentation
- Proficiency with EHR systems
- Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and plan individualized care for Medical-Surgical patients
- Administer medications and treatments accurately following physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor, interpret, and document patient status, making timely interventions as necessary
- Provide patient and family education, supporting emotional and physical health needs
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and other nurses to deliver coordinated patient care
- Maintain precise and thorough documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards
- Adhere to hospital policies and safety regulations to ensure the highest quality of care
