Key Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with a minimum of 2 years experience
- Medical-Surgical nursing proficiency with telemetry competencies
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
- Experience working with electronic charting systems such as EPIC
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide patient-centered care in a medical-surgical unit with acuity-based patient ratios
- Monitor patients using centralized telemetry systems and respond to patient assessments
- Collaborate with charge nurses, LPNs, hospitalists, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC, Alaris, and Pyxis medication systems
- Participate in orientation and ongoing unit-based training to enhance skills
