Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a diverse trauma patient population.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including nursing support techs, phlebotomists, ED nurses, and unit secretaries.
  • Manage a patient ratio of approximately 5:1 ensuring attentive and personalized patient care.
  • Participate in thorough nurse handoffs from the emergency department and admitting units to maintain continuity of care.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a specialty area involving trauma or surgical nursing.
  • Current RN license with BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical record systems is essential.
  • Must be flexible to work scheduled shifts as no block schedules or return-to-office policies apply.
