This opportunity provides skilled Registered Nurses (RN) with Med/Surg and Telemetry experience a dynamic clinical environment supporting diverse patient needs. The assignment is located in Stockton, CA, offering a rewarding contract role within a busy hospital setting. Nursing professionals here will engage in a range of clinical duties, supporting all 22 beds that accommodate Med/Surg and Telemetry patients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to Med/Surg and Telemetry patients
- Float as required to departments including ED, ICU, and OB for task support
- Adhere to staffing ratios: Telemetry 4:1, Med/Surg 5:1
- Utilize Pyxis for medication administration and Cerner for documentation
- Participate in weekend rotations approximately every other weekend
- Collaborate with on-site pharmacy, phlebotomy, and off-site provider teams
Qualifications / Experience:
- Valid RN license with Med/Surg and Telemetry nursing experience
- Ability to float across multiple departments and complete required tasking
- Comfortable working with electronic medication and documentation systems
- Call availability required as part of permanent staffing structure
- Commitment to at least a two-week assignment period following assigned guidelines
Additional Details:
- Scheduling blends self-request with business needs, primarily day shifts Monday through Friday for IV nurse duties
- No lift teams or unit secretary support on this unit
- Hospitalist and intensivist provider coverage 24/7, with on-call support available
