Accelerate your professional development by working with a variety of patient populationscardiac, respiratory, neuro, and moreat a licensed facility known for its certified chest pain and stroke care. Exposure to a range of workplace practices and leadership styles, as well as the requirement to float within the region, offers unmatched breadth for your clinical resume and adaptability.
Schedule/Hours
- Shifts: 0645-1915; 1845-0715 (12-hour shifts)
- Weekend rotation: Every other weekend
- Schedule cycle: Every 6 weeks
- Holiday requirement: 75%
- Up to 6 days of pre-approved time off (excluding holidays; RTO to be added to contract end if hours not met)
Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Minimum 18 months MedSurg/Tele experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Proficient in MedSurg/Tele skills: cardiac rhythm interpretation, non-titrating cardiac drips (Cardizem/Amiodarone), wound care, IV skills, and more
- At least 6 months EPIC EMR experience
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care for diverse diagnoses
- Maintain safe patient ratios (typically 1:5-6, up to 1:7-8 during surge)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teamsCharge RNs, CNAs, RTs, and hospitalists
- Float between facilities within the division, as needed
- Participate in shift handovers, documentation, and clinical decision-making
