As a travel nurse immersed in a diverse acute and skilled care setting, you will collaborate with a broad spectrum of healthcare professionals and encounter a wide variety of cases. This hands-on experience will set your resume apart with exposure to advanced procedures such as cardiac cath lab operations, geriatric psychiatry, inpatient rehabilitation, and emergency room care for both adult and pediatric populations. The frequent opportunity for learning through strong onboarding, including weekly orientation sessions, and the progressive culture will broaden your clinical skills and leadership abilities.
Scheduling/Hours:
- Orientation weekly on Mondays
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum 1-2 years medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
- Current BLS and all REQUIRED certifications completed before start date
- Must reside 60+ miles from the campus to qualify as a traveler
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled, compassionate care to patients in a variety of units (MS, ICU, psych, rehab, ER)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in both acute and skilled care settings
- Participate in patient assessments, medication administration, and documentation
- Uphold high standards of infection control and patient advocacy
