A registered nurse with critical care experience is needed for a contract role in Savoy, IL. This position requires delivering comprehensive nursing care, developing and implementing patient-centered care plans, and collaborating closely with healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes. The nurse will work in a specialized clinical setting supporting ICU lite patients and those requiring advanced care, maintaining high standards of safety and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
• Implement nursing interventions and patient care procedures aligned with unit protocols.
• Continuously evaluate and modify care plans based on patient response and evolving needs.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation to support integrated healthcare delivery.
• Ensure patient and staff safety by identifying and addressing hazards.
• Facilitate effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members, including bedside shift reports and hourly rounding.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including critical care staff and hospitalists.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and contribute to peer learning.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current RN license.
