Job Description
A registered nurse with a Master of Science degree is needed to provide direct patient care within a dynamic healthcare environment located in Santa Fe, NM. This contract opportunity involves floating between departments and local sites within a 20-mile radius, ensuring comprehensive patient care across diverse settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing actions.
- Ensure safe, effective, timely, equitable, and efficient care for assigned patients.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to coordinate care.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders or established protocols.
- Identify and address patient and family education needs from admission through discharge.
- Supervise clinical activities of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and non-licensed assistive personnel.
- Complete required competency testing and education related to patient population, procedures, and protocols.

- Current RN license with a Master of Science in Nursing (RN-MS).
- Strong clinical nursing skills with experience in various departments.
