A nursing position is available in a med-surg telemetry unit known for its moderate acuity vascular and bariatric patient care. This contract role is located in Salem, NH, offering an opportunity to work in a supportive environment equipped with advanced technology including Alaris Pumps, Bladder scanners, Atrium chest tube drainage systems, Dinamaps, and Vein finders. The unit operates using Sunrise EMR and maintains a patient-to-nurse ratio of approximately 1:4-5 during day shifts and 1:5 on nights.
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Experience in telemetry nursing
- Preferred: Bariatric and cardiac nursing experience
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to med-surg telemetry patients
- Utilize EMR system for accurate documentation
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including LNAs, monitor technicians, and secretarial support
- Adhere to unit policies and safety protocols
- Participate in weekend rotations, typically every other weekend
Work Schedule:
- Day and night shifts available
- Every other weekend coverage

- Flexible scrub attire policy with no assigned color requirements
