Qualifications:
- Current, valid RN license (compact state licensing accepted)
- Recent experience in Med/Surg (Medical-Surgical) nursing
- Proven ability to adapt quickly to new environments and electronic health systems
- Excellent clinical judgement, patient communication, and time-management skills
- BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Willingness to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient-centered care to diverse populations in a Med/Surg setting
- Accurately assess, monitor, and document patient conditions
- Administer treatments, medications, and interventions as ordered
- Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Help facilitate safe discharges and transitions of care
