Schedule/Hours
- Rotating weekends
- Set scheduling patterns with flexibility to pick up open shifts
- Occasional call and floating to the ED for admissions holds
Qualifications & Experience
- Current RN license in good standing
- 1+ year recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience preferred
- Proficiency in Cerner documentation and Pyxis medication systems a plus
- Strong communication, adaptability, and collaborative skills
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to medical-surgical patients
- Manage assignments with staffing ratios of 4:1 (Tele) and 5:1 (MS/Swing)
- Coordinate with pharmacy (on-site by day, remote at night) and phlebotomy teams (24/7)
- Employ bedside shift reporting and follow AIDET communication standards
- Provide support across units, including occasional assistance in the ED
