Step into a pivotal role as a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical care, delivering compassionate and skilled support to patients requiring a wide array of nursing services. This contract position offers the opportunity to provide excellent bedside care for individuals with diverse medical and surgical needs, working alongside multidisciplinary teams dedicated to quality patient outcomes.
Schedule/Hours:
- Contract-based position (duration discussed during interview process)
Qualifications:
- Active and current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of one year professional experience in Medical-Surgical (MS) nursing
- Demonstrated clinical competence in a hospital or acute care setting
- Strong assessment, organizational, and communication skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient plans
- Administer medications, monitor patient progress, and document interventions thoroughly
- Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated patient care
- Educate patients and their families regarding conditions, procedures, and post-discharge instructions
- Respond proactively to changes in patient condition and prioritize patient safety at all times
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, HIPAA regulations, and best nursing practices
