Step into a modern medical-surgical/telemetry environment where youll manage a diverse patient populationincluding cases of stroke, COPD, chest pain, GI bleeds, and moreusing top-tier technology like Epic EMR, Philips monitors, Alaris IV pumps, and Omnicell med-dispensing systems. Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time, travel assignment
- Floating required within the region as needed; paid travel time if floating mid-shift
Qualifications:
- Active RN license, with MedSurg/Tele experience
- Minimum 18 months relevant clinical experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Proficiency in: Cardiac rhythm interpretation, stroke assessment, NGT placement, trach and chest tube care, IV/PIV starts, PCA pumps, management of various drains/tubes, and medication drips including cardiac and heparin
Role Duties:
- Deliver evidence-based patient care to adults with varied acuity levels
- Perform accurate stroke and NIH assessments
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage IV medications
- Integrate with interdisciplinary teams, including CNAs, respiratory therapists, hospitalists, and phlebotomists
- Rotate across diverse units and facilities, further enhancing your skillset
