As a Med Surg RN, youll gain essential experience working with diverse patient populations, including the occasional pediatric case. Schedule/Hours:
- 13-week assignment
Qualifications:
- Current and active Illinois RN license required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS and PALS preferred (pediatric experience a plus)
- Previous Med Surg experience highly valued
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver quality nursing care to adult and select pediatric patients on the Med Surg unit
- Administer medications, monitor vitals, and assess patient conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Provide compassionate support and education to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in accordance with facility standards
