Professional nursing opportunity available for an experienced RN with a background in Medical-Surgical care. This contract position provides a chance to deliver high-quality patient care and collaborate with a dedicated medical-surgical team.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, valid RN license
- Minimum one year of recent Medical-Surgical experience
- Proficient with patient assessment, critical thinking, and care planning
- Up-to-date BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with electronic health records systems
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Monitor patient conditions and document all care activities accurately
- Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care
- Respond promptly to changes in patient status and provide appropriate interventions
- Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols
- Maintain clear, timely documentation in medical records
