Job Description

Professional nursing opportunity available for an experienced RN with a background in Medical-Surgical care. This contract position provides a chance to deliver high-quality patient care and collaborate with a dedicated medical-surgical team.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current, valid RN license
  • Minimum one year of recent Medical-Surgical experience
  • Proficient with patient assessment, critical thinking, and care planning
  • Up-to-date BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience with electronic health records systems

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments and implement individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
  • Monitor patient conditions and document all care activities accurately
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care
  • Respond promptly to changes in patient status and provide appropriate interventions
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols
  • Maintain clear, timely documentation in medical records
