As a traveling Registered Nurse specializing in Med/Tele, your role places you at the heart of patient care, sharpening your clinical expertise by collaborating with a range of medical professionals. Working 3 x 12-hour night shifts, youll gain exposure to varying workplace practices and leadership styles, ultimately strengthening your adaptability and broadening your nursing acumen in acute care settings. Schedule/Hours:
- 3 x 12-hour night shifts
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
- Current state or compact RN license
- Current NIHSS, ACLS, and BLS certifications
- Minimum 2+ years of recent, full-time Med/Tele experience in an acute care setting
- Must live at least 100 miles away from Reno, NV
- Successful completion of any facility-required pre-employment assessments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient care that is competent, compassionate, and efficient
- Apply knowledge of lifespan growth and development to ensure age-appropriate care
- Obtain and interpret patient information accurately to determine needs
- Make and document initial and ongoing patient assessments, including admission assessments
- Perform necessary care tasks in accordance with licensure, training, and regulatory guidelines
