A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with Medical-Surgical (MS) experience in Puxico, MO. This contract position offers a dynamic night shift schedule on the Med Surg units, perfect for nurses seeking a challenging and impactful role. The assignment begins ASAP and spans a 13-week duration.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care for patients on two medical-surgical units, including floating between units as needed
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure adherence to safety protocols
- Respond promptly and competently to patient needs during night shifts
Qualifications:
- Current RN license with at least 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience
- BLS certification required
- Ability to float between Med Surg units and manage diverse patient needs
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
