This Med Surg Float Team opportunity invites you to broaden your expertise while adapting to a variety of unitsobservation, cardiac, medical, surgical, ortho/neuro, inpatient rehab, and transitional care. By collaborating with diverse teams and engaging with different leadership styles, youll sharpen your clinical skills, refine your adaptability, and enhance your resume with experiences only a travel role of this scope can offer.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour variable Day/Night shifts (must be flexible)
  • Every weekend and holiday rotation
  • Guaranteed 3648 hours per week

Your Role Will Include:

  • Floating to multiple units as needed (with attempts to cluster your assignments within familiar areas)
  • Delivering top-tier care to a diverse patient population
  • Performing venipuncture and administering Cardizem
  • Maintaining accurate documentation using EPIC (experience within the last 2 years required)
  • Supporting your team with exceptional time management, adaptability, and positive organizational engagement

Preferred Experience/Qualifications:

  • 12+ years recent Med/Surg RN experience
  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) and active RN or Compact license
  • NIHSS certification (can be completed during orientation at no cost)
  • Strong work ethic, resiliency, and a social, adaptable personality
  • Willingness to start compliance within 48 hours of accepting an offer (24 hours for quick starts)
  • Commit to neutral scrub attire; no bright or character prints
